VárkertFürdő 20st Birthday and Várkert Beauty Contest Summary

The 20th Birthday of Várkertfürdő was held on August 13, 2023, which attracted both children and adults alike with numerous programs.

In the wonderful summer weather, many people visited, so in the colorful hustle and bustle, the little ones were dazzled by Clown Csabi's balloon twisting, as well as Orsi Molnár's marvelous world of stories, playfulness, and interactive children's show.

Under the guidance of Andrea Szekerczés-Rasek, children could also participate in animation activities, try out their skills with various beach games, and put their creativity to use in bead threading and drawing tasks. In addition to bathing and relaxing, those interested could also try out the bouncy castle.

Those who desired a little exercise had the opportunity to try the RoBody workout led by Virgínia Kocsis.

After this, Zsófi Cserkuti, the performance of the ZsooDance team, amazed the audience with her special and acrobatic Hip-Hop dance moves.

Thanks to Győri Búvár-SE, those interested could try what it is like to dive with full equipment and use an oxygen tank.

Piller Akusztik, performing as the opening act for the star guest, was received by the audience with great affection and exuberant joy.

The songs of ManGoRise, evoking a true summer vibe – which serve as a tasteful bridge between underground and mainstream pop – were met with applause and enthusiastic excitement from the audience. The band's frontman, Ákos Bartha, has already showcased his talent and creativity in several productions. István Katók amazed the audience on the saxophone, while László Szilágyi provided the musical accompaniment for the concert.

The highlight of the day was the Beauty Contest organized for the 5th time by Gábor Gyarmati, where 18 young ladies signed up, but due to the necessary change of date, only six participants were able to take part in the competition. The beautiful contestants first stepped onto the stage in black tank tops and jeans, followed by a bikini presentation, and finally, they showcased summer casual outfits by Unisex Fashion.

Between the different rounds, Kata Valler, the speaker, interviewed the girls so that the jury and the audience could get to know them better.

The third place winner of the competition was Aletta Deák from Budapest. The queen's first lady-in-waiting was chosen to be Csilla Kovács from Győr.

The crown was awarded to 19-year-old Angelika Mihály from the capital, who also received valuable gifts, including a BALO-GOLD jewelry set, a custom bikini offered by fashion designer Beáta Király, and a street photoshoot by fashion photographer Alexandra Belényesi.

The Beauty of Várkertfürdő regularly exercises, practices ballet, and plays the clarinet; in her free time, she likes to spend time with her friends. She noticed the competition on the Internet and entered encouraged by her parents and friends. The audience and the jury awarded Judit Csalló from Farkasgyepű with a special prize.
