Procedures supported by NEAK (OEP)

In our medical practice, it is possible to use spa therapy services that are fully or partially supported by the National Health Insurance Fund Manager – NEAK (the National Health Insurance Fund – OEP).

The professional head of the Medical Center: Dr. Edit Drescher, chief physician, rheumatologist-physiotherapy and musculoskeletal rehabilitation specialist, chief physician of the Rheumatology Department at Veszprém County Csolnoky Ferenc Hospital.

Applications for musculoskeletal rheumatology and rehabilitation consultations financed by the NEAK (OEP) can be made with a referral from a general practitioner, following prior appointment scheduling, in person at the medical reception, or by calling 89/512-616.

With social security support, spa and therapeutic treatments may only be prescribed by a funded healthcare provider who is a specialist in rheumatology, physiotherapy, orthopedics, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, physical medicine and rehabilitation, or a traumatologist in cases of traumatic indication.
The prescription of group therapeutic swimming for those under 18 years old is specifically regulated for each disease group. For each disease group, certain specialists or, based on a specialist's recommendation, the child's general practitioner is authorized to prescribe group therapeutic swimming. In the case of spinal and chest deformities, chronic obstructive respiratory disorders, obesity and its complications, in addition to the above, a school doctor also has prescription authority.

Spa medical care can be used twice a year. During one course, a maximum of 3 * 15 treatments or 1 * 15 pool baths can be prescribed.

The price of the course must be paid exclusively in cash and in a single payment.
