Another year, another Birthday! The 21st Birthday of Várkertfürdő was held on August 11, 2024, which, with a 1-week delay, entertained both children and adults alike with even nicer weather and numerous programs.
The little ones were dazzled by Clown Csabi’s balloon twisting with his more beautiful figures. The children, on the other hand, were enchanted by Andrea H. Szabó’s wonderful playfulness and interactive children’s show.
Children could also participate in animation activities and try out their skills. Under the guidance of Andrea Szekerczés-Rasek, they could showcase their talent in bead threading and drawing tasks. The bouncy castle also attracted many children in addition to swimming and relaxing.
The Rulett band entertained the visitors in 3 acts. First with hits from the 60s and 70s, then with hits from the 80s and 90s, and finally with hits from the 2000s, creating a lively atmosphere for the bathers. They also treated our bath with a surprise Happy Birthday song.
Those who wanted to try the RoBody training method could do so under the guidance of Virgínia Kocsis.
The next Tip-Top Tricky Magic Show was again aimed at children, enchanting them with its various tricks.
Zsófi Cserkuti, the show of the ZsooDance team, once again amazed the audience with its special and acrobatic Hip-Hop dance moves.
Thanks to Győri Búvár-SE, those interested could try what it is like to dive with full equipment and use an oxygen tank.
This year's Guest Star was Animal Cannibals, who were received by the audience with great enthusiasm and applause.
The long-awaited beauty contest, organized for the 6th time by Gábor Gyarmati, took place, where out of 21 applicants, only five young ladies were able to participate due to the forced change of date. The contestants, each more attractive than the next, first took the stage in black tank tops and jeans, followed by a bikini presentation, and finally showcased Unisex Fashion's summer casual dresses.
This year, unlike usual, between the different rounds, alongside Kata Valler, Virgínia Kocsis also joined the circle of speakers, and together they interviewed the girls so that both the jury and the audience could get to know them as well as possible.
At the awards, Titanilla Bertalan-Bedecs received the special prize, Katalin Kovács collected the rewards for the 3rd place, while the jury selected Barbara Andrea Földi as the 2nd place winner. The crown this year went to Csilla Kovács. Working in the beauty industry was not part of her plans, but last year's second place gave her a strong push to try again this year. She is receiving more and more such offers, so she is trying herself as a freelance model. Csilla often goes to the Várkertfürdő and likes it very much; she mainly visits Pápa with her partner in the winter season.
The crown was handed over by last year's winner, the 20-year-old Mihály Angelika from the capital.
