Due to the buoyancy of the water, our body loses almost 90 percent of our weight during water gymnastics, which is why we are able to perform gymnastics exercises that cause difficulties during traditional land gymnastics. Physically, the resistance of water is almost 12-14 percent greater than that of air, so training in water can strain our muscles just as much or even more than exercises performed on land.<\/p><\/div>

Physiotherapy is the physiotherapeutic method with which musculoskeletal complaints and certain injuries can be treated most effectively in the long term. At the Medical Center, diagnostic examinations are carried out by rheumatologists, based on which our graduate physiotherapists provide individually tailored movement therapy. The goal of physiotherapy treatment is to reduce pain, improve and restore joint movements. McKenzie method<\/h3><\/div>

The McKenzie method is a special movement therapy that is one of the most effective treatments for certain spinal problems. The treatment is always preceded by a thorough assessment of the condition and movement testing. Based on this, the physiotherapist decides what movements are needed to improve the condition. The McKenzie method is an active movement therapy in which the patient independently performs the exercises compiled by the physiotherapist several times a day.<\/p><\/div>

Weight bath<\/h3><\/div>

The aim of underwater treatment is to stretch the spine, relieve the pressure on the discs and the joints of the lower extremities. Painless treatment, during which the patient hangs in the pool with a neck and\/or armpit suspension, with weights placed on the waist and\/or ankles (or without weights). The stretching allows the discs to return to their original, healthy state. The hips and knees can also be stretched well with this method.<\/p><\/div>
